While the official start of spring was actually last week on March 20th, it certainly doesn’t feel like it in Boston. The warmer weather should come soon enough, and it is well worth the wait if you get to spend it in Back Bay.

At SnapSuites, we’re located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood – steps away from some of the best shopping, restaurants, and amenities.

Spring in Back Bay is an especially nice time to be in the neighborhood. There are so many exciting things happening – it sometimes can make it challenging to stay put in the office!

Here are a few of the things we’re most looking forward to in the neighborhood this spring:

2017 Boston Marathon – April 17th

We couldn’t have a better spot for watching the Boston Marathon (one block from the finish line). This year will be the 121st running of the Boston Marathon, and after the devastating race day in 2013, this event has become all that more special in the city.

Copley Square Farmers Market Returns – May 10th

Also just a couple blocks away from SnapSuites, the Copley Square Farmers Market is about to take our lunches up a notch. With over two dozen farmers that will be selling at the market, there’s always something new to try.

Red Sox Home Opener – April 3rd

Just about a ten minute walk from SnapSuites, Fenway Park is about to see A LOT more visitors than it has in the past few months. Opening day is less than a week away, and we love having all of the excitement around us.

Newbury Street restaurants open their patio doors – when it’s warm enough!

We’ve had a couple days when places like Sonsie have had the chance to open their doors for lunch, but there is nothing like enjoying dinner al fresco on Newbury Street.

Walks along the Esplanade – anytime!

There’s nothing more calming after a long work day than enjoying a long walk along the Charles. With miles of walkways, you’ll find some of Boston’s most active along these paths.
